While other workforce planning and optimization solutions primarily produce descriptive metrics that look at the past, we accurately forecast the future to deliver predictive metrics that enable you to make better decisions.
Simulating individual employee actions is at the core of the forecasting and analysis we provide. We use sophisticated optimization algorithms, advanced statistical analysis and expert evaluation to guide you to achieve your specific goals and resolve your challenges.
We enable you to predict workforce needs, fluctuations, gaps and other challenges in the midst of changing conditions. While the real world doesn’t stand still, our simulation modeling ensures that you make accurate predictions even when you can’t infer the future from the past.
We enable you to ask “What if?” without restrictions and without significant investments of time and resources.
Thanks to our patented technology and internal team of data scientists, statisticians and optimization experts, the accuracy of our forecasting and analyses is unparalleled. This high level of accuracy is preserved at the levels of the individual role and the individual employee.
We don’t simply drop data into your lap and leave you to fend for yourself. We don’t install software and then charge a monthly fee. We help you extract real value from your workforce data, and we guide you in becoming truly data- and results-driven. Our success is tied to yours.
We work with your HR team as well as your senior business leaders, functional leaders, hiring managers and other key stakeholders to ensure that you have the proper workforce in place to achieve the organization’s business objectives. As a result, we help HR gain greater acceptance as a strategic business partner.
Launched in 1992 as a simulation and consulting firm, we soon began undertaking projects that melded simulation and optimization, which eventually led to projects for military and governmental agencies including the U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy. We provided these organizations with simulation-derived analytics and helped them forecast and align their resource needs.
During our evolution, we received a series of grants from the National Science Foundation (NSF) to develop OptForce. NSF, the leading Government funding source of innovative research, remains particularly interested in our modeling and predictive capabilities.
Today, more than 25 years later, we’re bringing the benefits of optimization and simulation to the corporate world, where more and more companies are searching for a better approach to workforce planning.
